How we choose the Israeli brands we feature
What it takes for a brand to appear in the MEGA Israel guide to Israeli brands, and the stricter rules we follow before we would ever sell another brand's products.

IllustrationOur Israeli Brands guide is meant to be useful, not a list of logos. Here's what we look for, and what we promise in return.
What gets a brand into the guide
- It's genuinely Israeli. Founded in Israel, with real roots there, whether that's a Tel Aviv shop, a Jerusalem studio or a kibbutz workshop.
- You can actually find it. It has a working website, and ideally US stores, a US distributor, or international shipping.
- It's established. We favor brands with a track record over brand-new ones we can't vouch for.
- It's about the product. We keep the guide focused on fashion, food, home, Judaica and gifts. We leave politics out of it.
What we check
Every listing has a short description, its city and founding year where we could confirm them, and a link to the brand's own site. We check those facts against more than one source, and we review the guide regularly. If something's out of date, let us know and we'll fix it.
What we don't do
- No pay-to-play. Brands don't pay to be listed.
- No implied partnerships. We don't use brand logos, and a listing doesn't mean a brand endorses us.
- No hidden commissions. If we ever earn a commission from a link, it will be labeled "Affiliate link" right where you see it. More in our affiliate disclosure.
If we ever sell another brand
Plenty of shops copy product photos from Israeli makers and resell them without asking. We won't. Before any Israeli brand's products are sold on MEGA Israel:
- Written permission. The brand has to tell us in writing that we can sell their products.
- Reasonable delivery to the US. We publish their real delivery window on the product page.
- A return policy we can stand behind. If something arrives broken, you shouldn't have to email three countries to fix it.
- Honest product facts. "Made in Israel" appears only when the maker confirms it. Same for materials and certifications.
- A fair price for everyone. The price has to work for the maker, for you, and for us.
